The next Distinguished Speaker Webinar of IMAPS Europe will be held by Prof. Gabor Harsanyi on “Tools for Remote Teaching: an Extreme Challange arising from the Pandemic”, on October 7, 2021, from 5:00 – 6:30pm CEST

Our Department has been working on various types of web-based education materials for many years - the topics are mainly sensorics and electronics technology.

The free, English language webinar will be about the methods and experiences of distance learning solutions developed and applied by our teachers. Interactive slides, structured animations and the VLAB, the virtual laboratory of ETT were beneficially used in-person and for distance learning education. Remote teaching at the pandemic necessitated further development: remote laboratory practices were made where only the teacher is really present inside the lab.

Examples from the practical experiences with real university courses are demonstrated during the lecture, providing ideas for remote laboratory work that could be an approach of the future.
