Control shutter and microrocket
Thermal control shutter is an array of MEMS louvers, which can help control satellite temperature. When the shutters are open, they let excess heat to radiate into space. (left)
Micro rockets have digital thrusters, which consist of a chamber-array holding one shot of propellant each. A heater element detonates a chamber, resulting in a thrust. Ultimately, layers of thrusters may be stacked on one another, providing a fresh array after a used layer is cast off. (right)
