Under the scientific leadership of Prof. Emilian Ceuca, "1 Decembrie 1918" University, Alba Iulia, the Spring Seminar took place in Romania. The "36th International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology" was organized from May 8th to 12th, 2013, in the Parc Hotel, Alba Iulia, Romania, with the main subject of "Automotive Electronics".

In the seminar, 6 keynote speeches, 12 oral presentations, 91 poster presentations were held.

In the steering committee meeting, the organizing committee decided the country of the next, the 37th seminar, which will be held in Dresden, Germany in the 2nd week of May 2014. It will be organized by the Dresden University of Technology; General Chairman is Prof. Wolter. The organizing committee recommends organizing the 38th ISSE in Hungary, in 2015. This seminar will be organized by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

The Steering Committee admitted four new members: Tomáš Blecha (University of West Bohemia in Pilsen), Karel Dušek (Czech Technical University in Prague), Anna V. Andonova (Technical University of Sofia), Goran Radosavljevic (Vienna University of Technology).
