Under the scientific leadership of Prof. Alena Pietriková, Technical University Kosice, the Spring Seminar took place in Slovakia. The "34th International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology" was organized from May 11th to 15th, 2011, in the High Tatras resort, in Tatranska Lomnica, Slovakia, with the main subject of "New Trends in Micro/Nanotechnology".

In the seminar, 22 oral presentations and 111 poster presentations have been given. 131 contributions were printed in the proceedings.

In the steering committee meeting, the organizing committee determined the country of the next, the 35th seminar, which will be held in Bad Aussee, Austria in the 2nd week of May 2012. It will be organized by the Vienna University of Technology; General Chairman is Prof. Nicolics. The organizing committee recommends organizing the 36th ISSE in Alba Iulia, Romania, in 2013. This seminar will be organized by "1 Decembrie 1918" University, Alba Iulia".

Since Professor Wolter retire on a pension, Professor Heinz Wohlrabe is elected as the new General Chariman of ISSE. New members were elected too to the steering committee, Balázs Illés and Oliver Krammer from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
