For the first time a seminar took place in 1993 in Poland. Under the leadership of Prof. Golonka, "Department of Electron Technology" of the Wroclaw University of Technology, Poland, was organized the "16th International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology" from April 25th to 28th, 1993, in a guest house in Szklarska Poreba with the main subject "Thick and Thin Film Sensors". About 40 participants from 6 countries discussed optimized and new thick and thin film technologies for application in electronic components, especially for sensors. 39 papers were printed in the proceedings (158 pages).
