From May 15th to 18th, 1990, the "13th International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology" took place in Göd, Hungary, organized by Prof. Ambrozy, focused on "Computer Aided Electronics Technology". 36 participants from the 5 nations Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, GDR, Hungary and Poland discussed about CAD systems, computer aided optimization in electronics technology, lifetime prediction, computer controlled laser technology, automatic visual inspection, CAD hybrid circuit layout design and conclusions for student's education. 29 presentations were printed in the proceedings. In the "conclusions" from this seminar was stated: "The organizing committee found that the 13th ISSET was organized according to the status of ISSET and the goal of the seminar was reached both in scientific and social program". In each seminar always a very interesting social program has been organized, in most cases offering with a deeper look into the history of the region and combined with a walking-tour through the surroundings.

In this seminar the organizing committee determined the topic and the country of the next, the 14th seminar, and the location of the 15th ISSET: "The 14th ISSET … will be held in Sozopol, Bulgaria in the 3rd week of May 1991. It will be organized by VMEI Sofia, General Chairman is Prof. Philippov. The organizing committee recommends organizing the 15th ISSET in the High Tatras, Slovakia, in 1992. This seminar will be organized by Technical University Kosice".

In such a way the Steering Committee always gave an outlook to the next two years seminars at the end of the current seminar. Therefore the Steering Committee in 1990 consisted of five members, the representatives from the universities of Budapest, Dresden, Kosice, Prague, and Sofia.

Prof. Ambrozy has been the Chair of the Steering Committee for some years. He encouraged students to present papers and to take part in discussions. He was an excellent expert and a talented organizer. In this time he was unforeseen deceased. Short time later Prof. Illyefalvi-Vitez from Budapest, his department successor, became the Chair of the Steering Committee.
