1987, Sozopol, Bulgaria
The "10th International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology" took place from May 18th to 21st, 1987, in Sozopol - an old fisherman village near the Black Sea - with the main subject "Progress and Education in Hybrid Microelectronics". The Sofia University of Technology owned a holiday house at this location and therefore the previous tradition of the seminars has been continued in a good way. In this anniversary seminar more than 40 participants from Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, and GDR exchanged their latest results in education and research. The research in Bulgaria was strongly connected with semiconductor technology which has clearly to be seen in the oral presentations. More than half of the presentations were held by Bulgarian participants.
The seminar booklet (209 pages) contained 40 contributions. Taking under consideration the level of scientific work and education in Bulgaria the Sofia University of Technology was incorporated to become an active member of the ISSE community.
