ISSE 1982, Prenet, Czechoslovakia
The "5th International Spring Seminar of Electrotechnology" took place from June 1st to 4th, 1982, directed by Prof. Ryšánek. More than 30 participants from 4 nations discussed in 24 papers the subject of "Physical Measuring Methods for Electronic Technology" including the following aspects:
  • Methods and apparatus for surface analysis of electronic materials
  • Measurements of electrical and mechanical parameters of thin films
  • Optical, holographic, thermographic, and ultrasonic measuring methods
  • Application of above methods for development and control of production
Several contributions were printed in the scientific journal of the Prague University of Technology "acta polytechnica", others were published in the scientific journal "ElectroComponent Science and Technology", edited by D.S. Campbell, Professor of Component Technology at Loughborough University of Technology, Great Britain.

For the first time in the seminar history the representatives of the universities of Budapest, Dresden and Prague signed a "record" about the seminar and hence forwarded a short evaluation and information to the following seminars. In addition it became necessary to install a "Steering Committee". At the beginning this committee consisted of the three professors Ambrozy, Ryšánek and Sauer.

This seminar was organized in connection with the 275th anniversary of the foundation of Prague University of Technology.
